I don't write many reviews, but feel compelled to write this one as it describes a wonderful experience on a very wonderful day. My daughter got married on September 4th at Ralston White Retreat in Mill Valley, California. The location, while incredibly beautiful, was a challenge from the start as she and her fiancé moved unexpectedly to Boston, my husband and I live north of Sacramento, and the groom's parents live in Southern California. None of us lived anywhere near Mill Valley and didn't know the local vendors there. Luckily, through a series of interviews and recommendations we connected with Tony White and his team at Extreme Elegance Events. Tony led us through the whole planning process. He brings amazing ideas, but is also very flexible in incorporating your ideas. He works within your budget and comes up with creative ideas to give you the aesthetic you are looking for without just spending more and more money. He is patient yet focused and keeps you moving forward through the preparations. Then the day of he and his team keep everyone calm, keep things moving, and somehow bring everything together. From the big things like managing all the other vendors to the little things like making sure that the bridal party has something to eat while getting hair and makeup done. It's all taken care of. And he has access to amazing professionals that work with him. Dennis Dizon, the photographer we chose, is an incredible artist. We were blown away by his work. But Tony will also work with the vendors you choose and manages to build relationships with them as well so the whole event goes smoothly I cannot imagine a more perfect day. And I couldn't be more thrilled that we had Tony helping us make it perfect.

Wow wow wow!!! This man and his brilliant team really know how to throw an extreme and elegant affair! We attended a wedding yesterday at the Ralston White Retreat in Mill Valley and were stunned by the property! I have to say everything you see in the movies in regards to weddings is spot on especially with Tony and his crew! Very discreet but fast ones (in-ear radios and all), this team was on it!! Their photo and video team were nothing short of superb and I can say that they're very discreet and work quietly around the ceremony which can be overwhelmed by the norm busy photographers snapping away. We had an elegant and entertaining time, the decor, the energy and the food was AMAZING!!!! I'm Yelping the Caterers too! The Emcee was professional and on it and it was just a lovely lovely day and evening! Thank you again and congrats to Kelly & Tim we are so happy for you! I highly recommend Tony and his team for any wedding or event! They're brilliant and their name is spot on "Extreme Elegance!"

Tony White is not just a wedding planner, he's a friend, life-saver, confidante, therapist, magician, and will forever be an honorary member of our family. My husband Matt and I found Tony White after booking the City Club of San Francisco for our wedding -- we did a Google search of the venue and found pictures of a beautiful winter wedding he had planned there earlier that year. At the time, it was mid-2012 and my fiance and I were law students with empty pockets and big dreams. We told him that if one or both of us didn't pass the bar exam that summer, we'd lose our lawfirm jobs and the City Club wedding would likely have to be cancelled. We told him we couldn't afford his usual rates, either (which are reasonable - but we were starving students!) Tony found it in his heart to negotiate a rate we could afford. He was also nonplussed at our uncertain circumstances. In his usual Tony way, he just smiled and said "okay" and we were off to the races! Throughout late 2012 and all of 2013, Tony worked with us to plan our wedding that took place on January 18, 2014. The ceremony was a Grace Cathedral, and because I'm half Greek, my family was adamant that we incorporate Greek Orthodox traditions into the ceremony and parts of the reception. Matt is from Kentucky, and so we also wanted some Southern touches. We also wanted it to feel like a San Francisco-themed winter wedding. With such ambitious venues and ideas, we had a VERY tight budget -- but again, Tony took it in stride and was never judgmental about our finances. He laid out a budget for us very early on, and each month we'd tackle 1-2 items and discuss ways to appease both sides of our family. He would do all the legwork to find two or three vendors who were willing to work within our budget, and then we would interview them and select who we wanted to go with. As with any wedding, there were times when I felt overwhelmed because of drama with my bridal party, family members, etc. but talking these issues out with Tony always made me laugh and take things less seriously. He has been doing this for a LONG time, and so if something seems dire, he's sure to delight you with a true wedding horror story or two to help put things in perspective. :) In mid-2013, well into the planning process, we dropped a bomb on Tony -- we were expecting our first child, and he was due only four weeks before the wedding. Tony needed a second to process this development (we were at brunch) but after the initial shock wore off, he did absolutely everything in his power to assure me the wedding would still be amazing. He made sure there was backup staff on the big day to help with the baby, who was going to attend the ceremony and then stay in a hotel room a few blocks away from the reception venue. He scheduled pumping into the wedding day so I felt comfortable in my dress (I was breastfeeding). Speaking of the dress, he even went with me to my final dress appointment after several alterations had to be made because of my post-pregnancy figure. He also made sure all planning was done TWO MONTHS before the wedding so I could have a worry-free delivery and first month home with my son. The wedding itself was magnificent, and truly the best day of our lives. Tony and his staff, along with the vendors he helped us bring on board, worked together in perfect harmony and didn't miss a single detail. Tony worked with the reverend at Grace Cathedral to make sure the ceremony was just what we wanted. The fully-decorated dinner hall took our breaths away. We had Greek dancing after our wonderful dinner. Bouquets were in gold julep cups to honor Matt's Kentucky roots. Everything was beautiful shades of red and gold, and it felt like a true San Francisco winter wedding. Our wedding day was completely stress-free, and our guests are still talking about how it was one of the classiest, most thoughtful and charming weddings they have ever been to. From broke law students to licensed attorneys with a newborn son, Tony always believed in us and did everything in his power to make our wedding a magical day. Even if you have to devote 1/4 of your wedding budget to bringing Tony and his team on board, trust me, just DO IT. He will find ways to make everything else work out. He did it for us, and he can do it for you too.

Where to start...I got engaged in January 2012 and immediately started phoning potential wedding planners, as my husband is in medical school and I needed someone to help "fill his shoes" while he was away. In stepped Tony. It is very apparent that Tony has many years of experience creating very extremely elegant weddings, and we formed a good partnership from Day 1. We had regular meetings to check in on progress and he always offered his help and advice with anything and everything wedding-related. He managed my vendors, created the rehearsal and wedding day timeline, and always maintained a very professional and positive demeanor. He and his team was a pivotal piece to the success of our BIG DAY! One of the things I credit most to Tony is his patience and willing to please his clients. My husband got home only 2 weeks before the wedding and had made some special (and by special, I mean challenging) requests. Though our timeline was packed with activities, he managed to squeeze it in, to the delight of my hubby. He always said he wanted him to feel like it is his wedding, too. At the end of the day, that's exactly what he delivered. My husband and I told ourselves about a hundred times that day: "We really couldn't have done this without Tony!"

Our daughter was married this summer. We did a great deal of the groundwork ourselves and just flowed with the momentum of the event. However, about 10 weeks before the wedding, we realized that we all needed help in "getting over the goal line". Tony White of Extreme Elegance by Tony was recommended to us by our orchestra leader. Tony proved to be a life saver, helping us with the final arrangements, assisting us in taking numerous items to the hotel, making excellent suggestions about all facets of the celebration, and just looking at things from a very different and completely professional point of view. On the day of the wedding, he and his two assistants were invaluable in bringing everything together. I do not know how we would have survived without him. Highly recommended for whatever your party needs would be. Dr. and Mrs. Gerald Schall

I can't say enough about working with Tony. He is a consummate professional with years of experience in the events + wedding planning industry and will ensure your event runs smoothly. You, your guests, and your vendors will leave happy. For Tony we were not clients, we were friends. He went above-and-beyond so many times! From driving us or our bridal party to appointments, to linens, adding little "bonus" items to our guest gift bags, and arranging his schedule to skype with us while we were oversea's on business. We highly recommend Tony if you are planning a destination wedding. He understood the challenges of being far away from our vendors and wedding site and made it very easy for us to bring all the elements together. Tony was our surrogate in the Bay area! He knows the area, the local vendors, and can troubleshoot from his years of experience. Plus, he helped us plan a weekend of events to make our out-of-town guests feel like they were on vacation. Tony truly cares about his clients and the success of the event. He takes time to learn about you as a person and pride in helping you to have a joyous event. Thank you to Tony and the Extreme Elegance team for giving us the wedding our our dreams!

I've worked with Tony on numerous events, and if you are getting married or have a special occasion coming up, he's your man. When it comes to planning he is insanely talented. He has a great eye for detail, he can work with any budget (big or small), and timelines everything out for you so you always know where you are in the process. He is great at communicating and can handle any situation flawlessly. He's also one of the most dedicated and encouraging planners I know. He explains everything out, but not in an intimidating way. He's personable and would never treat you like you are just some client to him. He cares about the people he works with. I would reccomend him for anything you have going on.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Tony White and his team. My husband and I hired Tony to help plan our January, 2012 wedding. I'm not a planner and wasn't all that excited for the process, so hiring Tony was a no brainer! Best decision we could have made! Years of wedding experience, relationships with wedding vendors, and a fabulous personality make Tony the best around. He set and attending so many meetings with us, did our timeline, and made the day run seamlessly. Thank you Extreme Elegance for my "Winter Wonderland" wedding. Truly a dream come true.

In order to grasp the depth of my review for the fabulous Tony White I must first give a little background about how I came to hire Tony. I had began planning my wedding 14 months in advance because I was finishing school and my fiancé was getting his masters degree. We also have a 6 year old son so to say the least we were extremely busy. I booked my venue, florist and photographer first. As the time got closer I was beginning to get overwhelmed and the drama with the bridal party was getting out of control. A tip to all you brides out there choose your bridal party carefully. I am not originally from California, but figured it would be easier to have my bridal party filled with local/new friends. To make the story short my maid of honor flaked on my bachelorette party, my shower, and eventually dropped out of the wedding! Here enters Tony. Through out the wedding industry there is lots of buzz about Elite Entertainment (dj). I was told by numerous planners, vendors that E3 is simply the best. I needed a dj who could also work as the master of ceremonies. We met with Turner who is excellent. I was at the point of calling off the whole wedding, losing all my deposits, and running off to Vegas. It was clear how stressed I was, and Turner introduced me to Tony White (they are located in the same building). When I met with Tony I knew he would bring it all together. I hate making split decisions so I met with another coordinator. She made me extremely nervous but reaffirmed that Tony would be the wedding coordinator for me. Having previously worked in the wedding industry it was easy to see that Tony knew his stuff and wasn't all talk like the other coordinator. Tony is very reasonably priced for the services he lists, but let's be honest.... Tony lists a minimum of services but goes above and beyond. I booked the "day of" service but it started 90 days out from my wedding. Tony also offered to assist me with the décor. He not only set up my appointment with linens but drove me to the appointment. The linens were amazing, high quality, and extremely reasonably priced. Tony also went with me to my florist (Floral design Studio) to help tweak the sample, my final dress fitting, and to tie up other odds and ends. By booking Tony I actually saved money, because there is no more haggling with vendors, or getting over charged, vendors gave me the honest lowest priced, and even a discount here and there. Tony and I met regularly, and he patiently waited for my graduation before he started to really kick me into gear. Tony significantly lowered my stress levels and was always there to answer any questions my fiancé and I had. There were lots of last minute adjustments that had to be made especially when my officient dropped out 2 days before the rehearsal. He made sure my photographer, who occasionally went mia, was also on point, and on time. Tony white is a well known name in the wedding industry and when my vendors realized who got on board I have to say they all gave a little extra effort. I had lots of little details to my small wedding. Lighting, linens, candy bar, personalized water bottles, cocktail napkins, seating charts, place cards, multiple bars, cake table, and other interior designs were all handled and set up on the wedding day. The plain market room, at the Hilton in San Jose, was completely transformed on the wedding day. Every last detail was executed to perfection. Not only was my vision complete but Tony went above and beyond as always. During the reception Tony even found time to sneak up to the honeymoon suite and decorate it for us. I only had 50 guests at my wedding but there was a lot of details, and drama along the way. Tony kept it all together. He is simply the best! If it were not for Tony my wedding wouldn't have taken place let alone be that gorgeous. Besides taking care of all the details, organization, vendors, etc., I never once felt ignored or neglected. Tony is a miracle worker!
